Neesis Labs is not a pharmacy and not a medical practice. Prescriptions are written at the sole discretion of independent licensed clinicians, and medications are dispensed by licensed pharmacies. Neesis does not practise medicine, does not direct clinical judgement, and cannot tell you whether a treatment is right for you.

4. Compounded medications

Some medications prescribed through this service are compounded by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved products. The FDA does not review them for safety or effectiveness before they are dispensed, and it does not verify their quality, in the way it does for approved drugs.

5. Off-label use

A clinician may prescribe a medication for a purpose that is not an FDA-approved use, where their judgement supports it. Ask your clinician about the evidence, the expected benefit, the risks and side effects, and the alternatives — including not treating.

6. No guaranteed outcome

Individual results vary. Nothing on this site — including any statistic, testimonial or example — is a promise or prediction of the results you will get. A clinician may determine that treatment is not appropriate for you at all.

7. Testimonials

Testimonials reflect the experience of the individuals who gave them and are not typical of every patient. They are not medical evidence and should not be read as a claim about what a treatment will do for you.

8. Keep your own provider in the loop

Tell your primary care provider about any treatment you begin through this service, and tell your clinician here about every medication and supplement you take. Interactions and underlying conditions matter, and only a full picture makes care safe.

10. Reporting a side effect

Tell your clinician promptly about any side effect or unexpected change. Serious adverse events should also be reported to the FDA's MedWatch programme at fda.gov/safety/medwatch or 1-800-FDA-1088.
